Since 1969, our parishioners from St. Thomas More Parish have been

• bringing meals into Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston
• on the fourth Tuesday of every month 
• to feed the Ladies of the Women's Division.
• It only involves about 2 to 2 ½ hours of service every 3 months for the team which actually brings the food to Pine Street Inn.  
• They meet in the church parking lot at 4 p.m., serve the food at 5 p.m. and are back to Braintree by 6 - 6:30 p.m.
• A team consists of a driver and two servers who bring and serve the food prepared or donated by others. 
• The food consists of 3-4 shepherd's pies, desserts and fresh fruit.

• Volunteer to be drivers/servers on a team
• Commit to cook a shepherd’s pie for certain months
• Commit to bake desserts for certain months
• Donate gift cards for grocery stores/BJ’s/other stores where the ingredients for the cooked food can be purchased by the cooks and/or the fresh fruit can be purchased (we will gladly provide a tax receipt upon request)
• Organize a group of friends, your family, a group of families to “sponsor” a specific month or two by paying for all of the food to be prepared or purchased by others or by preparing and providing all of the food brought in by a team

 To give gift cards or donations – put them in clearly marked envelopes and then in the Sunday collection or come by the Collaborative Office (55 Commercial Street in Weymouth) and give them to the staff during office hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday).
